A day at the beach
Breeze + Ease
Sunchia’s turning 40, and we're doing it right. We're taking over the beach in front of Gladstone’s for a day of salt, sun, and Sunch. Dress for the beach, bring your best energy, and let’s have a party. This is a fancy(ish) but fun day by the water, and you're invited.
Public beach, so keep the BYOB classy and discreet.
Shrimp + A DJ
We're feeding you well and keeping you moving. Expect food throughout the day, access to the restaurant and bar, and everything to go around. It’s also a beach day after all, so please bring anything and everything you’d normally bring with you to the beach. And yes, bring ya kids. And if ya don’t have kids, bring a friend.
And because no great beach day is complete without the tunes, there may be a DJ and we’re working on additional activities for the kids.
Noon to Sunset
It’s a trek and we want you to relax, so we’ll be busing you out there and back home. The buses depart at 11am sharp from two convenient locations — Sunchia’s house (in Hawthorne) and Hollywood (exact location TBD) — so you can leave your car at home and arrive together. We'll be on the beach from noon until just after sunset.
Rides back will be arranged, and details will follow closer to the date. All you need to do is show up on time, because the bus waits for no one — not even family.
Just kidding.

Hope you can make it, understand if you can’t. Let us know either way. Give us a ring if you wanna chat, we love you all.
So why Gladstone’s? In 2020, before Covid, before the fires, Sunchia and Emilio planned to have their wedding reception on the beach there. It never happened. So this is just a little something.
